The Great Allenbrook Bake Off!

Residents, staff and guests had a wonderful afternoon at our 6th annual Great Allenbrook Bake Off competition!

There was an enormous selection of delicious cakes on display, whipped up by our staff in an effort to win the coveted 'Star Baker' prize.

We were very lucky this year to have the youngest Great British Bake Off contestant Martha Collison as a judge. Martha was delighted to judge our competition, posed for photographs and signed autographs too - it was also the publication day for her new book Crave!

There were so many lovely cakes to choose from but in the end our winner was Niamh! She will go down in the Great Allenbrook Bake Off Hall of Fame as one of the greats!

Also a special mention to Joan Johnson who won the best looking cake as voted for by our residents.
