Rooms
The lifestyle of a care home starts with their room. Your loved one needs to feel comfortable, familiar and safe in their room so they can use it as a safe space to escape the world as and when they need to.
At Allenbrook, a range of room types and sizes are available, many having en-suite facilities.
Room features include:
- Furniture - bed, wardrobe, armchair
- Neutral decor to allow for customisation
A number of the rooms have period features, including original fireplaces, and many have views over the extensive grounds.
Allenbrook understands the move into a room can be a difficult transition, so we encourage all residents to personalise their space through:
- Changing the layout
- Hanging pictures on the walls
- Bring a chair or additional furniture
- Moving personal effects with them

Our facilities include:
- Beautifully landscaped gardens, with new paths making them wheelchair accessible

- Free Wi-Fi
All our facilities are maintained to the highest standards to ensure the best possible level of care. Your loved one is always welcome to find a cosy spot in any of our communal spaces to host visitors or simply enjoy the company of the other residents.
These spaces are also the hub of activities as our activities coordinator hosts armchair exercises, quizzes, arts and crafts and a range of other activities to keep them entertained.
Everyone can enjoy the garden through spring and summer, enjoying tea and cake in the sunshine and basking in the colourful explosion of flowers. This is the perfect setting for various social events, from summer barbecues and the annual Bonfire Night Fireworks display.
