About Us

Allenbrook Nursing & Residential Care Home has long been the main provider of nursing and residential care in the Fordingbridge and Ringwood area, for almost 30 years. The home has close links to the local community, having built an excellent reputation for providing first class nursing and residential care in beautiful surroundings.

The aim of our Hampshire care home is to provide a place that feels like ‘home’ but provides all the care, support and security that is required for comfortable day to day living. The staff team are well-trained and knowledgeable but just as importantly, friendly and welcoming which helps to create the family atmosphere for which our home is known.

Staff

The team, which includes Registered Nurses and well-trained Care Assistants, is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care and professional support 24 hours a day.

With a focus on each individual resident the staff aim to tailor care according to the individual needs of each person, striking the important balance between providing appropriate support and assistance and maintaining a full and active lifestyle.

 

CQC Inspection Report: GOOD

The 2019 Inspection Report conducted by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good. The inspection covers the safety of the service provided, how well-led the service is, whilst also looking at how caring, responsive and effective the home is. Which rated outstanding in the responsive category. This is also reflected through the testimonials which Allenbrook, Fordingbridge, are all particularly proud of.

For many care homes, writing comprehensive care plans, keeping them up to date, and communicated with residents' families can be a time-consuming task. As it is absolutely essential to the smooth running of the home, Allenbrook Fordingbridge looked to technology to alleviate this pressure. To continue to provide the high level of care whilst ensuring all administration and care planning is kept up to date.

Person Centred Software has been implemented in the home. A fantastic electronic care management system to alleviate pressure on care staff. Documenting care plans quickly and efficiently, whilst ensuring all residents are safe, comfortable and happy.
