Camelia Tendea – Home Manager

Camelia started on her journey with Allenbrook in 2010. She began as a carer, before she rose through the ranks to become a senior carer. As her experience grew, she pursued her passion and became a registered nurse, then later a senior nurse.

Thanks to her decade of experience in providing high-quality care, Camelia was appointed as Home Manager of Allenbrook in 2023. Her role is to look after the wellbeing of residents and staff, going above and beyond to make Allenbrook a true home away from home for our residents.

What do you like about working at Allenbrook?

"I love the homey atmosphere and the satisfaction you get from looking after people, whether they’re residents, families, or staff. Our staff are friendly and it feels like an extended family."

What do you like to do in your spare time?

"I love to bake cakes and experiment with cooking different dishes with my children."
