Established in 1989, Allenbrook has been the main provider of Care in the Fordingbridge area for over 20 years. The Home is closely linked to the local community and has built an excellent reputation for providing first class care in beautiful surroundings.
Our aim at Allenbrook is to provide a place that feels like “home” but provides all the care, support and security that are needed for comfortable day to day living.
An apple a day may keep the doctor away but keeping the mind, body and soul active is a great recipe for longer living and happiness. We tailor a broad range of activities to achieve many objectives. The importance for some is maintaining strength, flexibility and finding balance; for others, it is stimulation, interaction and finding enjoyment in what they do.

Our Home is also equipped with to allow you to surf the net, email family and friends or even set up a webcam for a virtual face to face chat. Trips and days out are organised with staff and families.
Respite and Day Care for individuals living in their own home is one of the most important services that we provide. Carers or family members often need a break to recharge their batteries from the demands of providing 24-hour care.
We are happy to take over the care of your loved one from just one week, to provide support for the time you need.
Most of our respite clients use us regularly for short stays which allows us to get to know them well and understand exactly what they require from their stay with us. In some cases, this is simply to rest and enjoy the surroundings, in others, it is the opportunity to join in with our programme of activities and treat the stay as a holiday.
Our meal delivery service Homefare, provides a hot meal and dessert fresh from our kitchen seven days a week (including Christmas and Bank Holidays) to residents of Fordingbridge, Alderholt and Sandlehealth. Our menus are carefully planned to provide a balanced and interesting diet.
We operate a four weekly rotating menu to ensure that a wide variety of meals are available.
